Hwi, a fashion illustrator based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has always had a passion for art. Specializing in watercolor, she excels in capturing the beauty of women in her illustrations. Hwi began her creative career during the pandemic, a period that prompted her to revisit her artistic pursuits. Prior to this, she worked as a full-time insurance agent right after graduating from Iowa State University in the US.
During the pandemic, Hwi found herself with more time to engage in her passion for art. Seeing this as an opportunity,
Hwi made the bold decision to pursue a career in fashion illustration. Over the past two years, she has actively collaborated with various brands, making a name for herself in the industry. Her work includes live illustrations, grand openings, and marketing events with fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands.
Having taken a masterclass in painting from renowned artist Kerrie Hess from Australia, Hwi continues to refine her craft and is dedicated to creating beautiful and inspiring illustrations.
Her client list includes renowned names such as Michael Kors, L'Occitane, Bonia, The Stylish Bride New York, Gamuda, Avaland, and more others.
